Senior&Lead Visual HMI Designer Automotive Industry

• Collect and understand requirements from user as well as brand point of view;
• Design thinking and methodology

• Able to create and maintain design systems and style guides.
• Strong visual sense and direction.
• Strong animation/motion skills
• 3D skills are plus (Blender, 3DsMax,Maya etc)
• Conceptual thinking outside the standard deliveries.
• Experience with design software and wireframe tools: Adobe XD/Figma/Sketch/Adobe Suite
• 5+ years of professional design experience that includes work either form automotive or from web / mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners, managers and developers
• Ability to communicate to the team and guide the next steps
• Being hands on with the project to create successful deliveries
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and wireframes.
• Create visualizations of high-level ideas and explore potential directions of visual proposals;
• Define visual directions and develop further style guides;
• Implementing changes into design systems and guiding the team to follow them.
• Development of hifi or lofi prototypes that clearly illustrate how they work and what they look like;
• Design the graphical user interfaces for variety of applications (automotive, wearables, web&mobile)
• Prepare and present to internal or external teams and key stakeholders;
• Preparing and planning deliveries and milestones with stakeholders and managers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven work experience as HMI Designer, having experience from the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of wireframing and prototyping.
• Strong knowledge of motion design
• Strong knowledge of branding and graphic design principles
• Proven experience in leading a team
• Strong knowledge of design softwares (Figma, Sketch Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects);
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders;
• Good time management skills;
• Interaction with experts both with technical teams (software developers, engineers), non-technical (visual designers, product owners, project managers etc.).
