UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

- Relevant experience from software embedded development

- Experience in microcontrollers/MCUs

-Experience in C and C++

-Experience in Python programming language

-Experience in Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)

-Experience in Linux operating system

-Experience in wireless connectivity, including cellular connectivity, Bluetooth low energy and WiFi

-Experience in Device drivers

- Experience in Git version control system

- Experience in debugging and test – Tools and setup

*English profficiency

Nice to have

- Experience in FOTA solutions

-Knowledge about network protocols (such as TLS and MQTT)

-Knowledge about low-level usage of UARTs, GPIOs, I2C and SPI

-Knowledge about Open-source software

-Documentation skills

-Work as a senior software developer for embedded applications

-develop end-to-end solution for global real-time cargo & asset tracking and supply chain visibility. It consists of advanced trackers, sensors, cloud service and a web interface that’s accessible from any connected device.
