Job description

Randstad Technologies is looking for an Android Engineer to our client within the music industry. You will join one of our teams in the Identity & Investment Product Area and contribute towards the company’s 2nd highest bet (company initiative). Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio.

This is a consultant assignment and freelancers are also welcome to apply. Randstad Technologies is specialized in competences within IT. Responsibilities

Initially, work on the company bet where the goal is to turn more users into creators on the Spotify app, with later opportunities to work on other projects.
Build cutting edge Android features that bring the joy of music & podcasts to millions of users.
Collaborate closely with other engineers.
Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams.
Become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

You know how to write readable, idiomatic and maintainable Kotlin and are willing to follow already defined coding guidelines and workflows. We also expect you to know how to write Java in a similar way.
You are experienced with a variety of Android libraries.
You have a deep understanding of Android system design patterns and API design.
You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code.

You enjoy collaborating with other teams
