About the role

Your tasks as a senior Android developer of Kisi will be a lot of things, but never dull. Your core mission is to build and evolve a highly robust and usable Android app for accessing and managing physical sites.

• 100% focus on user experience by keeping error rates low and bugs squashed
• Implement new features and help define and tackle projects big and small
• Collaborate with our web, backend and hardware teams
• Design and maintain our Bluetooth and NFC drivers used with our readers
• Work on improving security and performance of our app
• Work on internal tooling for logging, error reporting, releasing, testing etc.

Requirements

• Rock solid experience with Java and Kotlin and relevant Android frameworks
• Rock solid experience with the Android Bluetooth API and NFC APIs
• Solid experience with iOS is a plus to support cross-platform code reviews
• You have released to the app store before to serve a sizeable install base
• You are well versed in writing good code: clean, modular, tested, scalable
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD workflows for testing and releasing apps
• High level of communication and teamwork skills
• Strong command of the English language
