In the 1960s Gothenburg was thriving due to a strong shipping industry that generated jobs in the area creating an economic upswing. As one of the strongest competitors in Europe we got blinded of our success and realized to late that the global development had caught up and surpassed us. There were severe cut-backs and a whole business was on the verge of disaster. The depression was a fact.

As a Software Embedded Engineer you’ll take responsibility in your team’s development as well as your own and client’s. You will have a variety of tasks and assignments, no day will be the same, but still you will daily exercise keeping your holistic view. We are asking for someone who can single task in a multi-task environment. Are you the one?

Responsibilities

As a Software Embedded Engineer you will work both internally developing our innovation projects as well as developing our customers with the SMART CITIES of tomorrow. This includes, but not limited to:

• Create and develop strategic partnerships with suppliers.
• Plan, organize and monitor new product development within Embedded Systems.
• Prepare technical specifications according to business needs.
• Manage projects.
• Contribute to developing a process approach to your work.
• Create and maintain internal and external training within Embedded Systems.
• Identify and channel new business opportunities into the organization.
• Contribute with customer-critical information to our business development process.
• Support Market team with procurement work.

OUR COLLABORATION

You plan your own working day and responsible for continuously reporting to the CEO against the goals that have been jointly established annually. You will run several projects at the same time, which will require that you have a good ability for a holistic view to make the right priorities and freely organize your activities.
