UX/UI Lead

Do you want to save the world? Maybe not in a literal sense but here at Svea Solar you will be contributing to making the world more sustainable and fighting against the wicked fossil fuel that is destroying the world. With you two superpowers, UX in one hand and UI in the other, your mission is to improve both Svea Solars App and Website.

Jokes aside, well...not really. As a UX/UI Designer you will be a crucial part of the work we are doing, specifically, transitioning the world to a fossil fuel free world, one solar panel at the time. The role will entail you to lead the UX/UI teams efforts to continuously improve the design on our App and Websites by developing and annotating user flows, customer journeys and personas.

You will be working closely with the other UX/UI Designers and the Product Owners to e.g., conduct design brainstorm to better understand the product details and user needs. There are of course other stakeholders that you also will be working closely with, such as our five different tech teams and the marketing team as well.

Here at Svea Solar you will create original designs, typography, iconography and art for digital screens centred around modern designs. You have the possibility to create intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using best practices, latest web trends and all available tools to augment the user experience.

Are we a match?
To help us get to the place we want, we believe it’s great if you have worked quite a lot with UX and UI, at least 5 years in an agile methodology. You will become our most senior designer and with that you will be leading your design colleagues, because of that, good leadership skills are a must!
