About the job

Länsförsäkringar has chosen Appian as the new low-code case management platform. The Platform will be shared cross-functionally within the Länsförsäkringar Group, and is currently under construction. It is expected to be put into production in August 2022.

As a Software Engineer at Länsförsäkringar, you are responsible for the management and development of the platform. You will participate in prioritization of requirements, analysis, design and new development of Appian-based applications. You are also active in demo development efforts for the program team, as well as having a close collaboration with testers / QA teams and the UI / UX team. Development and maintenance are conducted in agile teams consisting of employees from both business and IT.

Who are you?

We are looking for you with a post-secondary education or higher within the IT-field, Process Development or similar. If you have experience with low-code platforms such as Appian, Outsystems and Mendix, it is considered a plus. Other knowledge and experience that come in handy include Java, JEE, Ajax, Javascript, XML, XSLT and similar.

The team

You will be joining our team Personrisk & BI (Personal Risk & Business Intelligence) – an IT Operation team within our Business Unit called SAK. Business unit SAK is responsible for service to and development of the Länsförsäkringar Alliance's non-life insurance business. Personal risk and BI are well balanced in relation to a diversity perspective. The group is responsible for a number of functions in addition to the Appian platform, including a number of IT environments, ETL services and Robotics.
