Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for our Central Team. The Hiring Manager for this role is Kim Wedenberg, Manager for the Analytics team. He believes in the servant leadership style with a huge focus on collaborative aspects of the team building and forming teams that feel ownership and empowerment.

About the role

In the subject role, your focus will be to automate and optimize core business functions using your data and modelling skills. This will involve connecting with cross-functional teams that have data engineers and domain experts and then building end-to-end data solutions. Few examples of the focus areas would be optimizing stock levels in our warehouses, product prices or optimizing content relevance for marketing.

You will be a part of the central team of Data Scientists, and you will support and challenge the team with your insightful ideas. The team believes in sustaining the environment wherein they share and learn from one another on a regular basis. As the Senior Data Scientist, you will be self-driven to take a greater role in moving our ways of working forward and contribute towards the team successes.

Our tech stack at present is focused on Azure Data Lake and Databricks. Python and SQL are the main languages.

What you have

- 4+ years of experience from similar role.
- Proven track record of bringing Machine Learning Solutions to production.
- You have deep knowledge in Python and SQL, have experience working with distributed cloud compute as well as MLOps practices.
- Experience in coaching others.
- Fluency in English.
