Solution Architect Lead

We are on an exciting growth journey and are now looking for a Solution Architect Lead that want to secure the future of Benify’s solution architecture and lead one of our most prioritized areas!

Main responsibilities

As a Solution Architect Lead, your main responsibility will be to ensure that we build long-term, sustainable technical solutions and products, with the right balance between configuration and core functionality. You will consult and advice teams working with development, integration and configuration on how solutions should be designed and implemented as well as working close with clients to understand their needs.

You will report to our CTO and work close together with different peers in Professional Services, Product and Tech. The team you will be leading consists of 6-10 Solution Architects and Content Product Developers that have deep knowledge of different parts of our system. We are currently in a built up phase, where you will have a big impact on how to shape the teams future. In the position you will for instance:

• Participate in client dialogues to understand requirements and identify product development needs
• Guide and coach others how to design a great solution fit for purpose with low technical dept
• Plan, suggest, execute and follow up on technical work packages and tasks
• Design new solutions together with Developers and Configuration teams
• Ensure your team members have a clear view of the expectations on their role
• Support team members in their daily work and continuous performance management, wage-setting and annual salary review

This is what we are looking for

You have strong communication skills and can discuss problems and solutions both on a deeply technical level as well as non-technical level. You have a good ability to lead others towards a goal and create consensus. In this, you understand the importance of listening to different perspectives and understand different aspects and basing your decisions on facts. You can take on a great responsibility, build trust and work with different people, lead with a point of view and own the decisions you make.

To succeed in this role, we also see that you have:

• Several years of experience in the field of tech or product working with complex systems with high configurability
• Experience from configuration, integrations, java, JSP and databases is a plus
• A few years of experience from a leading position
• Relevant educational background within Computer Science, Software Development or similar
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
