The marketing department is leading Trustly’s ambitions to become a pan-European leader in Online banking payments by building a high awareness and preference among e-commerce merchants, journalists and future employees. The marketing department is expanding rapidly with high focus on digital marketing, PR and Fairs & Events.

The role

Trustly.com is our window to the world and the most important brand channel for our key audiences. Trustly.com has been developed on a mobile first philosophy and is responsive to all types of devices to meet the needs and desires of a global audience.

As the lead developer in the marketing team you are the technical owner of the website trustly.com. The function is intimately integrated in the marketing department to be able to work with relatively short iterations and ship code on a daily basis. You are a commercially oriented developer that understands the need of timely deliveries while maintaining high quality. You have experience of architecting website logics and user flows. You will work closely with the digital marketing team, online sales, customer support and other functions.

You:

You are a frontend developer that not only is a master of front-end developing techniques like HTML5 and JavaScript but also have a deep understanding with backend development, databases and SQL.

Your duties:

• Ensure world-class delivery of code to ensure a stable web experience for our key audiences
• Highly productive, ability to work to close deadlines.
• Architect and integrate third party services to serve the above.
• Build new sections of the website such as landing pages for marketing campaigns
• Architect and build layers on top of the existing site to increase conversion to sales, newsletters and more.

Your profile:

• HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript fluent.
• Minimum 2-5 years as a front-end developer
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• Great interpersonal skills
• Enjoying the mix of short and long term strategic project

Preferable skills

• Knowledge of backend development, PHP, databases and SQL.
• Experience in project management.
• Understanding about marketing process.
• Experience in smart applications to increase customer satisfaction, online sales and brand experience.
