We're looking for an outstanding Staff Software Engineer - FinTech - Wallet (f/m/d) who can help us deliver an amazing Wallet experience along with your team. You're also an engineering leader, take full ownership and are committed to delivery, ability to solve complex problems at scale, and giving attention to the tiniest details.

Your heroic skills

• You have a passion for building high quality Wallet and Payments systems.
• You are self-sufficient by owning complex deliverables and drive it from architecture, system design, and all the way to serve millions of users.
• You have good written and verbal communication skills to express solutions to large/ complex problems.
• You are a quick learner, and accept new challenges.
• You care about the quality of your deliverables in terms of resiliency, performance and scalability.
• You have good eye for relational database performance bottlenecks and know how to circumvent them in every walk of the solution.
• You are versatile about the programming languages or the kind of problems you can solve.
• Experience in FinTech, Banking, Wallet or Payment industry
• Experience running & maintaining a (micro-)service environment with decoupled services under high load with large data sets.
• Familiar with cloud provider GCP, AWS or Azure and with DevOps practices
• Deep understanding & proven experience of JVM-based technologies (Kotlin knowledge is a plus).
