We are looking for a Software Engineer (Scala/Kotlin) - Experimentation, Logistics Optimisation (f/m/d) to join our Experimentation team to help us create a fast and reliable service that will be used by platforms all around the world. You will be developing services to enable Delivery Hero Logistics to reach many more new customers and delivery from a variety of vendors. Your Mission:

• Work on the latest projects that would enhance simulation and experimentation capabilities in our Logistics department

• Be a key part of the entire development lifecycle from specification to deployment and running the apps in production

• Innovate technology, process and product within the whole organization

• Work together with a great team to succeed in our mission

• Build a scalable product with high quality

Your Heroic Skills:

• Proficiency in Scala or Kotlin

• You have 3+ years overall professional application development experience

• Understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns

• You own your software end to end, including cloud deployment and monitoring

• You have a strong problem solving and collaborative mindset

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to the logistics domain and in particular to Vehicle Routing Problem algorithms is highly beneficial

• Previous experience with simulation or A/B test domains

• Experience with highly concurrent system and multi-threading

• Experience with infrastructure-related technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, continuous integration, and AWS or Google Cloud providers

• You love to learn and constantly improve your skills and are not afraid to jump into new things

• You believe in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment
