We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d) (preferably experience in Golang) to join our Location team and build our Location Platform which makes the world's addresses and places discoverable in hyper 3D accuracy. If you’re a creative problem solver who is hungry for a new adventure, an international workplace is waiting for you in the heart of Berlin!

Your mission:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software that scales

• Take part in architectural decision making.

• Contribute with ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement.

• Understanding development lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional and international agile teams.

• Coaching and mentoring team members.

Your heroic skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science OR an equivalent education OR practical experience.

• Extensive experience in general purpose programming language (preferably Golang).

• Experience working with distributed and parallel systems and web applications.

• Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.

• Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Geo-data manipulation.

• Design Driven Development.

• Hexagonal Architecture.

• Event-driven architecture.
