We are looking for a new talented colleague to join our small team of innovative and engaged developers in our bright and modern office in Telefonplan, Stockholm. The team is part of our Identity Services organization, and together we provide, maintain, and innovate Workplace and Workforce solutions for Nexus' customers. 

What will you be doing at Nexus     

As a Software Developer, you will primarily work with our Nexus Go Cards (https://www.nexusgroup.com/solutions/online-services/cards/) offering, an online service which our customers use to order highly secure and customized identity cards, key fobs, and other accessories. It is a flexible and secure, cloud-based solution where our customers can choose to order directly via our online card management portal or by doing a system integration via API.

You collaborate closely with other team members, departments, and customers/partners to take end-to-end responsibility for the entire service, enabling us to deliver great things fast. Agile methods, constant improvement and continuous deployment is part of the team DNA.

You have a lot of experience in your backpack, contributing to interesting development activities and implementation of new features for the services.   

Your playground will, among other things, include: Java, Spring boot, Angular, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, GIT, SonarQube, Azure Pipelines, Open ID Connect, SAML

About you  

To succeed in this role, you have 5+ years of practical experience working with software development in Java. You have good knowledge and understanding of micro services and working with the cloud and related technologies, preferably: Docker, Azure, Kubernetes.

Previous experience working with IT security, meaning that you grasp the demands and requirements we face every day, is considered a big plus. If not, the most important part is a strong interest and the willingness to learn.

To thrive in this role, you should be an active team member , share your ideas and inspire people around you. You care about the end user and their experience is a key focus. Problems are there to be solved and you use your creativity and knowledge to do so. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of tasks and work independently, but who also like to collaborate with colleagues!

Lastly, we are a global player, and you need to be unhindered in English. If you also know one of these languages: Swedish, German, or French, that is a major plus.
