Our Exciting Opportunity

Our sector, Ericsson Product Public Key Infrastructure (EPPKI), is hosted in a Product Development Unit called Development Service & Infrastructure (PDU DSI) which is one of many PDUs within Business Unit Networks (BNEW). We provide Public Key Infrastructure management, Malware Scanning Services and Data Signing Services for Ericsson products across the company.

Due to growing integrity and authenticity security needs, we are now looking for a Software Developer to mainly develop, but later also maintain and operate our Security Services.

Key Responsibilities

You will work in an end-to-end DevOps Team in Stockholm/Sweden in close collaboration with teams in Jorvas in Finland. Team responsibility covers:

  • development, maintenance, and operation of our services
  • operation of the SW/HW infrastructure used for development & operation of our services
  • regular ticket review, root cause analysis and participation to incident response

This specific position will focus on software w development but will later expand to other areas within the team.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on experience of Automation and Continuous Integration (like Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible and RPM packaging)
  • People skills, being a great teammate, self-starter and ability to work in an Agile and security-focused environment
  • Programming and IT skills. In particular:
  • Programming and Scripting (mainly Java, but also Python and Bash)
  • Networking – IP networks, Firewall, IPS/IDS, Proxy, DNS, NTP, SMTP
  • Besides, competencies in the areas below are needed:
  • Operating Systems – Linux (preferably Red Hat based distributions)
  • Databases and web servers (preferably MySQL, Apache HTTP and Tomcat)
  • RESTful APIs

Knowledge/experience in the following areas are an advantage, but not necessarily required:

  • VMware vSphere and ESXi product family
  • Log Management (preferably remote logging and log monitoring)
