Description

Our client in the banking sector is now looking for a Mainframe Developer, they are undergoing fundamental change with digitalization, new technology and regulatory framework that is continuously transforming their business.

As the financial landscape is changing, they are shifting from business-driven IT, to an IT-driven business. The IT development is run in shorter sprints using agile ways of working, ensuring fast delivery and value in line with customer and business needs.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- COBOL
- JCL
- DB2
- IMS
- Mainframe services/APIs
- Mainframe development and maintenance
- z/OS
- Swedish and English, written and verbal

Preferred competence and experience:

- Experience and knowledge of platforms & technologies outside of mainframe
- Experience within the Life insurance area or fund trading.
- Experience of or strong interest in working with DevOps and test automation

Preferred personal qualities

A curious and analytical person with experience in working with mainframe development and maintenance, with a strong drive to improve. You have the ability to work independently and can self-govern but also thrive in collaborative settings as you consider yourself a good team player.
