We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Development Lead with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Development Lead at our client, you will lead and manage the developers in an agile cross-functional team of talented Engineers dedicated to providing our customers with a world-class experience through our web, mobile apps, and supply chain. You will be the technical lead for the software developed by your team, as well as the line manager.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in working efficiently and effectively in all aspects of software development. The Dev Lead collaborates closely with the Product Manager to assess, scope, and define the group's work. You are expected to be an individual contributor to the team as a passionate developer.

You understand how to strike a balance between velocity and good design and quality, and you believe that test automation is critical to maintaining quality over time.

• A serverless microservice architecture built entirely on AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
• Contexts that are constrained and pragmatic
• If there is no serverless, managed services are used (e.g Elasticsearch)
• Infrastructure as Software (CloudFormation & SAM)
• Capability to observe (Kibana & CloudWatch for logs and Datadog for dashboards, alerts, and metrics)
• GCP
• Analytics (BigQuery, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, GTM, and our own AWS data) Machine Learning (we also use SageMaker in AWS)
• Languages for coding (agnostic mindset in general, despite the fact that C# is the tool for this specific role)

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

Competency prerequisites for the applicant:

• 5+ years of development experience, preferably in C#/.Net Core, creating high-scalability, distributed systems in production environments.
• A BSc or higher in a technology field is required.
• You enjoy mentoring and developing others.
• You've had some experience leading a group of people and understand the value of relationships.
• Working knowledge of microservices and cloud computing (preferably AWS)
• You are familiar with agile software development and engineering best practises and are eager to advocate for them. Experience with CI/CD Experience with Git Experience with unit testing and mocking
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
