Role of Infrastructure Developer, OpenStack | Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Infrastructure Developer, Openstack with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Our client is in the process of establishing a new Container and Cloud Team to automate and abstract the complexity of modern infrastructure in order to provide scalable, secure, and highly available platforms to support the needs and growth of the business.

To ensure the success of our new Container architecture, we are looking to add an Infrastructure Developer to our C&C team who sees code where others see traditional infrastructure and works from the ground up to automate everything.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Build and maintain global container infrastructure as well as cloud production systems - Work with a diverse technology stack - Deliver reliable, scalable, and highly available systems
• Be operationally responsible for our infrastructure, including 3rd line stand-by rotation.

You will be working with the following technologies:

• On-premises Kubernetes and EKS environments
• Kubernetes Automation Networking (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
• Computing in the Cloud (OpenStack, AWS)
• Languages of Programming (Python, Go)

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

Competency prerequisites for the applicant:

• Knowledge of Linux and/or Networking
• Experience with infrastructure automation
• Experience with transaction-heavy systems Deep dive into Linux systems
• Experience with load balancing, routing, firewalls, and VPNs
• Have the mindset and abilities to function effectively as a member of a cross-functional, self-organizing, self-managing team.
• Strong believer in Opensource and GitOps philosophies - Believe that code and automation are the best ways to evolve infrastructure
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Believe that having freedom with responsibility is the best way to go
• Enjoy working in a large environment
• Do not fear challenging or being challenged in a discussion
• Prefer working in a self-organizing team
