UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

· Experience from embedded software design primarily in C

• Experience in Linux environment

· Experience coding Perl/Python

-Experience with IP/tyelecom applications

Work language English

Wanted competence:

• Git and Gerrit

• Protocols like L2/L3, Routing, 3GPP, TCP, UDP, L2TP, TLS

• Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack, Vmware

About the position

• You will work as an embedded developer

• The products put high technical requirements on the team including high-performance application development, low latency requirements, multi-threaded programming, embedded development, DPDK knowledge and framework design in the IP Connectivity competence area.

• develop in a Linux environment, and code is committed to Git repositories.

• modern Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks using Jenkins with over 2500 commits per month and weekly pre-deliveries to customers.

• Have the possibility to try to set the next world record within mobile packet switching

• Become a specialist in C coding and IP protocols
