Application Software Developer

MUSIC Tribe in Sweden, located in new office building in Kungsbacka, is responsible for the product categories amplifiers and signal processors under the brands Lab.Gruppen, Lake and Klark Teknik. We are now taking our next step in developing a brand new, modern and attractive Design Center and we need you in our continuous development of our groundbreaking premium amplifiers and signal processing solutions for the professional audio industry. We are now reinforcing our software team with passionate Application Software Developers with experience from building mobile, web and desktop applications using modern front-end technologies such as React and HTML5/CSS. Being full stack you will also design and build modern database driven backend web services that support multiple frontends as well as real-time communication with amplifier hardware. You will be instrumental in creating software applications to configure and monitor powerful audio amplifiers for professional use. You will also be involved in developing cutting-edge applications for professional sound systems, used by elite musicians for their live performances.

As an Application Software Developer you are a member of a cross-functional software development team that works with modern development methods such as Scrum and Continuous Integration, in a creative and inspiring environment. Roles and Responsibility

Technical

• Develop state-of-the-art distributed multiuser real-time applications.
• Work with cross-platform application software and architecture.
• Write unit tests for the developed software solutions and integrate into CI pipelines.
• Be on top of latest trends within software application design.

Operational

• Most important: You are self-motivated, used to manage your own time and strive to learn new things. You pro-actively seek the extra information you need from other colleagues or external sources and share your findings as we grow together.
• You are a fundamental player when designing new software applications and will be involved from the very beginning of the development process.
• You will work closely with other developers and UI/UX designers to develop a great user interface for our software products.
• You will work closely with backend and web service developers to support front-end applications and control network amplifiers in large sound systems.
• Together with the rest of the team, you take full responsibility for our software products including requirements, architecture, code quality and testing.
• You work closely with internal and external customers, implement new features as well as solving our customers’ issues.

Qualification:

Essential skills

• Demonstrated more than 5 years experience of programming in Javascript or Typescript, React/Redux and HTML5, developing web services and software design.
• Experience in working with key-value store databases and IoT networking
• Experience with the continuous integration process and tools, including experience in using Git for version control and a genuine interest in agile software development.

Preferred skills

• Experience in Rust and/or C++
