My name is Mika Ikonen, and I am leading the Management & Orchestration team within our Network Service Management & Automation unit. We are looking forward to onboard a new Network Cloud Developer to our Management & Orchestration team. Your location can be in Stockholm or Helsinki.

Your next challenge?

As a member of the MANO team, you will develop systems and applications targeting network orchestration and automation. This is a new and key component in the network and will tie together other network entities to enable full automation and orchestration through SW programming and restful APIs.

As a developer, you understand how the network evolves through automation both for life cycle management, closed loop automation and service assurance point of view. You also have good understanding of the end-to-end requirements of the service, functional and non-functional requirements and provide input to other network domains. As we also use sourced SW, you will have tight cooperation with suppliers to reach a joint success with the automation transformation.

Additionally, you will have a role when it comes to system design and aiding stakeholders in the decision-making process to secure quality and customer satisfaction. We value collaboration and knowledge sharing and therefore this is a great team to develop and grow.

We are looking for you that have experience from:

• Web service, REST APIs
• Python & scripting, or another comparable language
• Test driven development (e.g. Robot Framework, Cypress, etc.)
• Micro-services development, Docker & Kubernetes
• SQL, Linux OS
• Code Repository (e.g. GIT, Stash, Artifactory)
• Tracking tools (e.g. Jira, BugZilla)
• Understanding of CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Experience on front-end development (e.g. Vue.JS, Angular, React) is a bonus

In our daily work the team works with:

• Developing back-end APIs with Python (Flask)
• Creating front-end UIs with JavaScript and Vue.js
• Writing test cases in Robot Framework and Cypress
• Creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks for automatic configuration and installation of our infrastructure
• Building and deploying Docker images and containers with docker-compose on Jenkins pipelines
• Working with VMware Telco Cloud Automation (CNF/VNF’s, NFVI, NFVO)
• Using and developing Keycloak to protect our applications
• Following SAFe & Scrum practices
