You will be part of the team IT Operations & Support and we are the owners of the Axis global infrastructure. Your colleagues in IT Operations & Support are responsible for our whole life cycle of the Infrastructure & Platforms which is consumed by Axis and Axis customers. We are approx. 30 technical skill co-workers that managing and operating the latest and greatest technology. We hope you share the same passion as we do for technology and technology development. Together with the team you will deliver a highly available & reliable infrastructure.
What will you do here?
In the role as System Owner - IT Monitoring, you will manage and take responsibility of the function IT Monitoring. This means that you will be driving the implementation and development of our new monitoring system from installation, optimize configuration, management of events and integration to other tools & system. You will be a part of the daily monitoring and the resolution process. A part of your role as a System Owner you will not only own the operation and maintenance of the solution but also contribute to process around monitoring.
You will be in contact with many different stakeholders, who owns different Infrastructure products and components, so you need to enjoy working together with others and being able to priorities between different requirements.
Who are you?
We think you have a couple of years' experiences in a similar role or have been working with IT Monitoring as part of a SOC or NOC team where you have gain basics understanding of IT Monitoring. You know how IT Monitoring adds value to improve availability and reliability of technical environment.
We believe you will love this position if you enjoy taking responsibility and you will have a great opportunity here at Axis if you like to make a difference and build something new within our organization. We think you have experience of IT-infrastructure operation and maintenance and understand how to set guidelines for IT Monitoring. We think that you have a couple of years' experiences in an IT Operations role, maybe with focus on monitoring. You understand the daily operation and maintenance from an infrastructure perspective and maybe you are ready for your next challenge.
As a person you need to have a passion for working together with others as we think that working together will give as better solutions.
We Believe You Will Need some of the skills below:
* Experience and knowledge of Linux.
* Knowledge of monitoring tools like, Zabbix or Prometheus.
* Basic understand of monitoring models for IT-infrastructure.
Very nice to have:
* Scripting skills: JavaScript, Python.
* Knowledge of functional testing and monitoring
* Knowledge of Network and Windows.
