SAS Commercial Global Sales / Digital Sales

The Digital Sales department is globally responsible for all sales through SAS’ digital channels, our websites, the Online Travel Agencies, and the SAS app. The sites are distributed in 20 countries using 10 languages and are today the largest sales channel within SAS. As a Digital Analytics Manager you will be responsible for all detailed follow-up and analysis of digital sales and performance in above channels.

The Digital Sales team consists of 7 employees responsible for site optimization, ticket- and ancillary sales, destination pages, A/B testing, SEO, ASO, as well as the co-operation and distribution using Online Travel Agents. The team is located at SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna, just outside Stockholm and reports to Head of Digital Sales.

The role

As the team’s Digital Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for analysing the digital performance from various perspectives to ensure accurate data for decisions and data-driven optimization of online channels. You will be an important team player in different teams working with site improvement and sales follow-up and will have close co-operation with several parts of the organization such as Marketing, Revenue Management, and Product, as well as other PoS markets within Global Sales. Together with the Product Owners and Customer Process Owners you will play a central part in the cross-functional teams working with A/B testing and site development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Detailed follow-up of sales and site performance, discover-book-pre-travel etc

• Work with multiple advanced analytics tools to analyze, execute and follow up initiatives from idea to implementation.

• Active participation in cross-functional teams to ensure decisions based on facts and figures

• Active participation in OTA/MSE sales teams contributing with sales and performance analysis

• Competitor analysis and benchmark studies

• Ensure data accuracy by working actively with control of data aggregation and tagging in analytics tools

• Analyze, report, and deliver actionable insights to improve the customer experience and to identify commercial opportunities.

• Participate in A/B test and analyze results

• Communicate insights and learnings to the Digital sales team and relevant stakeholders.

• Build dashboards to present customer data and performance metrics for different areas.

Qualifications and experience:

• Relevant Bachelor or Master university degree

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience of working with web analytics and sales analytics

• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Optimize and Excel • Experience with other analytics/presentation tools such as Power BI, Klipfolio, etc and preferably also coding and work with a data warehouse.

• Experience of agile ways of working (i.e scrum) • Fluent in English, both speech and in writing

• Preferably fluent in any Scandinavian language

• Strong analytical skills, ie numerical and statistical methods to analyze data

• Ability to question and make detailed analysis of data into clear insights

• Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate and explain data and insights to various stakeholders

• Strong relationship building skills
