Role & Responsibilities:

Dynamic and motivated, you have a strong background as a developer who specialises in e-commerce technologies and moved since a while to an architecture role designing e-commerce solutions in the consumer-facing digital space. You are looking to move beyond and use your expertise to lead the growth of the Electrolux best-in-class direct-to-consumer presence as a new competitive edge for Electrolux and drive the technology agenda based on new web technology trends.

As an Application Architect for the direct-to-consumer channel of the Electrolux brands, you will be responsible for the technology agenda and will be owning the architecture design of the e-commerce platform by reviewing current implementations and processes and proposing improvements, leading an ongoing process of metric-driven optimisation, raising awareness of new technologies and the benefits they could bring, and ensure that your specialist knowledge is shared throughout the organization.

This role is pivotal in driving the e-commerce platform development – which can be connected to any frontend presentation layer – and executing the wider digital strategy across Europe to ensure maximal direct-to-consumer experience and the growing need of high-performance platforms. Working as part of the Sales and Marketing Technology and Delivery team, this role supports the day-to-day direct-to-consumer management needs.

In this role you will support the direct-to-consumer solution development by providing, communicating, and evolving the broader technology and architectural view of the solution, working with product teams (especially the technical leads) by providing technical enablement concerning subsystems and capability areas, by:

•Leading the architecture design of the Electrolux direct-to-consumer solution and ensure change requests authority

•Owning the corresponding current IT landscape and its transformation to the target optimal architecture

•Ensuring that the solution architecture design is optimized for performance, reliability and scalability and aligned with the Electrolux IT strategy

•Assisting with performance and security configuration of the e-commerce solution

•Leading technical analysis & detailing of direct-to-consumer enhancement roadmap items & business requirements as a close collaboration with product owners and also D2C business stakeholders.

•Acting as the SAP Hybris Commerce/SAP Commerce Cloud technical and functional subject matter expert within the Electrolux Direct-to-Consumer community

You will also collaborate closely with the direct-to-consumer product management function in defining the technology infrastructure to realize the product development roadmap (by decomposing business epics/features into components and subsystems, and defining their interfaces and APIs), including the ownership of the technology enablers epics/features.

It is important that you appreciate the challenge of being a cornerstone in the digital transformation of Electrolux from a technical standpoint.

You will report to the Sales and Marketing Technology and Delivery Manager in a key role working with the Direct-to-Consumer stakeholders in executing the digital strategy across Europe and working closely with delivery partners to carry out optimisations and architecture transformations, but especially daily working within the development teams to successfully deliver and support the Electrolux e-commerce digital platform.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in managing the solution architecture practice and a clear understanding of technical landscapes that are made of e-commerce software products combined with a micro-service based architecture. Previous experience working in a Technical Lead or Architect role in an e-commerce area is essential, experience with scaled agile teams will be a plus. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with a multitude of people across IT, business, and vendor teams including senior stakeholders and be capable of exercising conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

•Advanced and proven experience of using Java, J2EE and Spring framework technologies in high-traffic environments. 5+ years development experience using SAP Hybris Commerce/SAP Commerce Cloud technologies

•Advanced and proven experience of using SAP Hybris Commerce/SAP Commerce Cloud technologies (end to end solution, implementation and related integrations) in high-traffic environments. Any SAP Hybris Commerce/SAP Commerce Cloud certification is a plus

•Design and implementation of e-commerce/Omni-channel platform solutions based on SAP CX.

•Understanding of common SAP Hybris Commerce/SAP Commerce Cloud performance problems and optimizations. Able to gather metrics and demonstrate improvements over time

•Able to confidently estimate the effort required to perform SAP Hybris Commerce/SAP Commerce Cloud specific work, in partnership with the development team

•Ability to work in a full agile ecosystem heavily Scrum methodology oriented

•Experience as architect or technical lead in a scaled agile setup

•Ability to communicate your specialist knowledge. Perform ongoing reviews of current implementations, share feedback with the rest of the team
