Web Technology Solution Architect

SKF is a global company communicating with customers and stakeholders all over the world via different Digital channels. We are now looking for a committed and enthusiastic Web technology Solution Architect with proven experience from working with solution architecture, development and operations of Digital channels in a larger company.

SKFs communication via Digital channels is continuously developing to assist our customers, which makes this a great opportunity to be part of an exciting journey in this area!

Your day-to-day work:

As Web Technology Solution Architect, you will be part of the Web Team in Digital solutions at SKF Group IT. In close collaboration with our internal customers and vendors, we are responsible for development and operations of our customer facing Digital channels, for example our global SKF.com platform, Product Information management system PIM, Digital Asset management system, Enterprise search platform, Marketing automation tools etc. We also manage several integrations to for example E-commerce systems and CRM systems.

In your daily work you will have the following responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for ensuring that our DevOps vendors deliver the best possible performance and security

• Own and direct the Technical roadmap for our global Web solutions including performance, security, automation and optimization.

• Take responsibility for the overall software architecture, integrations and security of our external Digital channels. This also includes integrations with backend tools and capabilities

• Work closely with Solution architects and Integration architects to develop the best possible solutions across our different organizational departments

• Participate and take responsibility as Solution architect in pre-studies and planning of new functionality and integrations

We expect you to have:

• University degree or relevant higher education within IT

• Extensive or senior experience as Web developer, Web solution architect or system administrator handling larger, global Web landscapes

• Proven experience from handling digital projects and DevOps deliveries

• Proven technical experience within web and digital services, being responsible for operations including security, integration of new products and solutions

• Proven experience from working with CDN solutions, DNS and Cloud hosting, e.g. Azure Cloud

• Experience from managing Web Content management systems, for our SKF.com platform we use RWS Tridion Sites and Wordpress

• Fluent in written and spoken English
