Developer to SVT DataOps team in Stockholm

Your Responsibilities

As a developer within DataOps, you will have a broad role where you will work with both back- and front-end development, streaming and data engineering from all digital sources at SVT.

This means in more detail:

• Develop and manage our data platform in Google Cloud/BigQuery.
• Work with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Go.
• Develop first class data pipelines using Kubernetes, Apache Airflow and dbt.
• Work agile and data-driven in a cross-functional team.

The Bigger Picture

You will be a part of the DataOps team which is a cross-organizational area between Development and Data Engineering. You will work together with other Developers, Analysts, Data Engineers and Product Owners. Our attitude is that teams work in the way that suits them best, which often means different types of hybrid work; both from home and at the office. Your office will be the SVT-house, located at Gärdet in central Stockholm.

Our Expectations

We think you have worked some years with a wide range of different tech and have a big interest in both development, like Go, Python or SQL and also data, like BigQuery, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow or dbt (data build tool).

As a person, we are happy to see that you are curious and eager to test new technologies and new ways of developing our products, working methods and collaborations. You have no problem expressing yourself in English and it is an advantage if you also can speak Swedish.
