Axis is now looking for Quality Assurance Engineers to join our team within the Research & Development department.
Your future team
Axis Quality Assurance department consists of 200 engineers working with test, verification and validation for all Axis products and solutions. This makes us one of the region's largest test organizations.
In your immediate team, BVP Test, you will have the opportunity to work with several development teams within the R&D organization and Quality Assurance department and be a central part in securing the high-quality demands Axis places on its products and solutions. Your closest colleagues are highly skilled test engineers and test leads with many years' experience in the industry.
The role
Axis continue to grow and so does the number of camera projects. To keep to our high quality standards, we believe in a strong test organization. We need more colleagues that can help us drive our latest projects forward and evolve as a Test organization. Your task is to secure the firmware quality of our newest camera projects together with other test leads, test engineers and in close cooperation with the development organization. The testing is both manual and automatic with scripted and exploratory test methodologies.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for highly motivated test engineers who wants to make a difference, with a passion for test and quality. As a person you are responsible, curious and prestigeless with good communicative skills. You are driven and take initiatives.
You are a tester with very good knowledge in network communications (TCP/IP), python and Linux, and holds a Master or Bachelor degree in engineering or physics.
Skills seen as a merit:
* Test leading firmware or software projects
* Test automation
* Good understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software interaction
* Networked video
* Git, or equivalent software management systems
