The Team

By utilizing the latest technologies provided by the leading cloud providers combined with machine learning, we build scalable, future proof data solutions, to achieve this goal.

As a new member of our existing Data Engineering team, your responsibilities involve design and development of varieties of data processing solutions. The team provides the technical backbone needed for a data-driven and personalized customer experience. The role

As a Data Engineer at Avaus you will work in multidisciplinary client teams in an Agile environment. You will have a client-facing role and work in close collaboration with our clients’ business and technical stakeholders in order to capture and understand the requirements of complex data solutions. Your responsibilities involve the design and development of varieties of data processing solutions. You will have a focus on delivering solutions using a combination of services provided by different cloud vendors. You will most likely be doing some of these things also:

- Be part of feature development, from planning all the way through to test and delivery
- Designing and developing data solutions utilizing the most popular cloud platforms on the market
- ETL and data analysis to deliver insights and value to our clients
- Working close together with our data scientist and analyst teams

Who are you?

We're looking for a person with a passion for technology and data. You like to analyze data and from it create actionable insights. You easily identify possibilities from data and what business value it has. People describe you as a team-player and you have the ability to create valuable relationships. You have a strong sense of ownership and want to be part of our journey! Beside your personality, we would also like you to have:

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics or physics. Alternatively a couple of years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in one or more programming languages like Python or Java
- Experience working with Cloud platforms like GCP or Azure
- Experience of SQL and data modelling
- Report and dashboard development experience
- Fluent in English

Practical information:

This is a permanent position with a 6 months’ probation period, based at our Stockholm office at Katarinavägen 17. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer a hybrid remote workplace and you will report to Team Lead, Anthon Ytterell.
