DevOps Engineer

What you will do:

Engineering Effectiveness (EE) is what might be called Developer Tools, Developer Productivity, Engineering Infrastructure, or Developer Efficiency. We provide the tools and processes that allow the rest of our engineers to do their job, focusing on the things that are used by most of our engineers.

We have created centralised teams with the mission of helping our development teams to deliver quickly and at the same time scale to a great number of users and enabling our customer- and employee growth. The centralised teams act as force multipliers by turning specialised knowledge into reusable building blocks. Empowered with these tools in hand, development/domain teams can focus on solving problems within their specific product domain.

The work of the EE team is enabling LeoVegas to handle approximately 1,300,000,000 transactions a month, peak load at around 100 000 transactions per minute and 10,000 concurrent user

You will work in our EE-team together with our senior DevOps engineer to manage our system instances and to improve our maintenance process to make it more streamlined.

Google Cloud Platform, VmWare, Teraform, Kubernetes, MySQL, Linux, Kubernetes, Dockerization

Who are we looking for?:

Must have:

• Kubernetes
• Dockerization
• Experience of Linux, we are using CentOS but any distro will go.
• An open mind and willing to learn

Good to have:

• Programming skill or knowledge about scripting languages
• Google Cloud Platform
• VmWare

Bonus things to know about:

• Elasticsearch
• Kafka
• BigQuery

Working Hours:

LeoVegas has a hybrid working environment with 4 days working from home per week and 1 days working from the office as we want to give our employees flexibility to structure their work week while at the same time being able to provide information, team practices and social activities.
