Who we are
Our unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consist of around 700 skilled engineers who are responsible for everything from research and advanced engineering, to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers in the area of Safety, Vehicle control and Autonomous Drive. 
Within our Agile Release Train (ART), Active Safety Functions, we develop functions such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking, Low speed AD and Driver Support. We develop and integrate functionality and SW into a complete product, making use of sensor input such as radar, camera, ultrasonic and lidar, that build a comprehensive perception of the car’s surroundings. 
Our team is now looking for Senior SW Architect to support us in our expansion!
What you’ll do
In this position as a Senior SW Architect in our team, you will will lead the work within Software Architecture toward efficient and capable software for Active Safety Functions. Your main responsibilities will be to develop architectural runways and test strategies, support SW developers in early concept design phases and develop application software for Active Safety Features.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience from SW development in complex and safety critical systems.
You have extensive experience in creating SW architectural designs, designing interfaces within technical areas and create relevant tests for them. All while taking into consideration different stakeholders and requirements.
You are familiar with developing code in C++ as well as using MatLab/Simulink and can handle supporting tools like Python, Polyspace, GTest Framework, TestWeaver Silver and Git/Gerrit.
You have leadership experience and can set strategic directions and are a good communicator and collaborator.
Having experience from previously working within the automotive industry, active safety and SW development for safety critical systems is a huge plus!
