About the role
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer who can take the lead in data processing and BI tooling, making sure the data warehouse is living up to compliance requirements and collaborating in defining the product’s tracking requirements. The role also includes providing insights into our product, users and the business.

If you consider yourself having a unique mix of business acumen and technical skills, and believe that you can understand our product, business and what is important to our users, then you might be right for the role. Tasks may include:

- Managing GCP based data pipelines for ingesting data from internal and external data sources, storing, validating, cleaning, transforming and feeding data into a data warehouse and analytics tools, following best practices and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to define the tracking specifics to enable analysis.
- Creating well-structured datasets for self-service analytics
- Produce relevant standard or custom recurring reports and dashboards
- Set up and analyze results of A/B tests

We believe you need to be/have
We are looking for a technically strong person who will be the go-to person when it comes to in-depth data analysis. You are passionate about creating self-service analytics and have a strong autonomous engine to drive both yourself and projects forward. We believe that you also have:

- 1-3 years of hands-on data science / BI / analytics work experience, from a subscription-based service is a plus
- Experience using reporting tools like DataStudio and familiarity with Google Analytics or MixPanel or similar
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and to produce and communicate insights in a clear and understandable manner
- Proven demonstrable ability to combine a focused commercial awareness with the technical skills to provide insights for product development opportunities
- Strong skills in complex SQL query design as well as an understanding of and experience with data integration services, data warehouse design/development and query optimization
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
- Knowledge of data transformation tools such as DBT is a plus
