Software developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our SW team!

Acconeer´s product portfolio is growing, and with that comes a lot of fun new development for the SW team. We are currently eight software engineers responsible for everything from low level embedded software to an automated python framework that verifies all our changes, and we are looking for someone who will enjoy programming in both Python and C since you will work with all areas of our code.

With the new radar sensors there comes a wide variety of use cases where we are responsible for both showcasing them in our python-based Exploration Tool hosted on GitHub, and then implementing them in C in order to reduce time to market for our customers. Our SW libraries should be suitable to run on small, embedded targets, and therefore low memory usage and power consumption is key while developing.

We use Git for version control and Jenkins to test and build our reviewed code. We work in an agile manner with continuous integration. The most important and crucial part of how we work is the way we work together as a team. Problems and solutions are discussed together, ideas are welcomed and encouraged.

Our team consists of both senior experts and newly graduates where everyone has a chance to excel in things they do very well, but also to learn new areas they haven´t tried before. We believe that you have a Master of Computer Science and Engineering degree (or similar). You don´t need previous experience of the tools mentioned above. The important thing is that you are eager to learn and want to contribute, both with code and ideas. And of course, that you want to contribute to the positive, friendly atmosphere in the team.

About Acconeer

Acconeer is a young and innovative company developing the world´s smallest 60GHz radar. The Acconeer radar sensors combines extremely low power consumption with sub-mm distance estimation accuracy. It enables distance measurements, micro-motion detection, material classification and much more, all within a sensor sized 5x5 mm including antennas.

Acconeer is located in our brand-new office in Västra Hamnen, Malmö. We are currently a group of around 50 people with high R&D focus, working closely together over the R&D disciplines - hardware, software, and algorithm research. We have a large and growing international customer base in the IoT, consumer electronics, industrial and automotive segments which means our sensors are integrated in everything from robotic lawn mowers and touchless buttons to industrial tank-level gauges and parking sensors for smart cities.
