About this opportunity

As System Developer, you will work together with a team of skilled and highly qualified system engineers developing a Java-based test automation framework. The framework is an Ericsson inner source product on top of JUnit/TestNG and is used for testing of Radio and Router products. Currently we are implementing support for Cloud-based (Kubernetes) nodes and 5G radio as well as getting more involved in open-source initiatives. We are also using Elasticsearch for processing data and exploring ML/AI technics for test case selection.

We work near our customers refining requirements, identifying improvements, giving demos and training sessions. You will experience a truly collaborative and supportive environment, both in terms of tools and colleagues. For this role, we're looking for two new colleagues to join the team.

As part of NextGen we are looking for you who wish to explore your career with us and that you have less than 3 years of relevant experience.

In addition, we believe you have:

• Curiosity about new technologies and like to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
• BSc degree (MSc preferred) in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Electronics or Technical Telecom or the equivalent level of knowledge
• Programming/scripting skills (Java is a must; Grovy, Bash, C/C++, Python is a merit)
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing
