Platform Developer within Load and Performance Testing

The position

As a platform performance engineer at Cambio, you will be a key player in delivering a best-in-class electronic health records product in terms of scalability, robustness, and stability for our product line COSMIC. We are looking for an experienced developer in the area of load and performance testing who can help us achieve that goal.

At Cambio, our performance and stability responsibilities are distributed amongst different application teams who create the functional scripts to be executed on our main product, COSMIC. You will belong to the platform team here at Cambio and work hands-on with regular performance and stability tests, running and analyzing load tests with close coordination and communication with the functional teams.

As exciting changes are happening here at Cambio we are modernizing our product, which means that the performance and stability of the product are more important than ever as are going from an on-prem solution to a SaaS solution.

About You
To succeed in this role we believe that you have good communication skills and a passion for quality, You have a great interest in technology and like us, you love talking about Cloud, containerization tools, and SaaS solutions, and agree that robustness and performance are critical for a product's success.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in performance and stability testing of large-scale IT systems
- Ability to lead and perform advanced troubleshooting both on the server and database side
- Experience in different performance analyzing tools
- Experience in object-oriented programming, preferably Java.
- Very good knowledge of relational database performance optimization
- Speaks and writes English fluently
- Degree in Computer Science or related

It’s a bonus if you have

- MSSQL experience
- Experience with JBoss application servers or similar application servers
- Worked with JMeter, K6, and/or Dynatrace
- Containerization and tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and/or OpenShift.
- Experience with test automation

Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm

Scope: Full time 

Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
