In Sweden today there are thousands of forest owners that sell millions of cubic meters of timber to the Swedish forest companies. To simplify and improve this process we are building a digital platform for Swedish timber sales. Our vision is a more fair, effective and transparent timber market where the correct timber reaches the correct industry at the right price. Virkesbörsen can be compared to a Blocket or Hemnet for timber sales.

On Virkesbörsen forest owners can:

• Sell timber and get offers on our marketplace
• Compare timber prices in our price comparison
• Compare interest rates and find the correct bank in our forestbank comparison

And forest companies/forest buyers can:

• Find timber and leave offers
• Buy timber and make deals with forest owners

About the position

You will work in a small and tight tech-team that works a minimum of 3 days a week remotely, but the position is located in stockholm and sometimes it will be a requirement to be at the office. In our small tech-team you will have a lot of influence over your assignments and your day to day. You will work together with the rest of the team to plan and solve the issues we face. We work hard to offer a good working environment, this means we are flexible around you day to day life and try to keep stress levels low

What we are looking for

A developer with a basic understanding of both Frontend(React, Bootstrap 5) and Backend (Python 3, Django). We are looking for somebody who is not afraid of new challenges and with the support from the rest of the team can solve unique problems that you have not faced before. We are looking for 1-5 years of experience within web development or similar experience (Github, own projects etc.)
