Looking for a Mainframe Cobol Developer in Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Mainframe Developer (Cobol) with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

For our customer, we're looking for a Mainframe Developer. The consultant must have previous mainframe development and maintenance experience, as well as a strong desire to improve.

The consultant should be able to work independently and self-manage, but he or she should also thrive in collaborative environments and be a good team player. You will be working on a major modernization project in this assignment.

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

Competency prerequisites for the applicant:

• COBOL
• JCL
• DB2
• IMS
• Mainframe services/APIs
• z/OS

Other:

It is advantageous to have the following knowledge & experience:

• Knowledge and experience with platforms and technologies other than mainframe
• Life insurance or fund trading experience is a plus.
• Worked with DevOps and test automation before or have a strong interest in doing so.

Scope: 100%

Language Requirements: Mastery of English & Swedish language in both speech and writing is required.
