Managed Cloud Engineer

We are currently looking for a Managed Cloud Engineer to support our Enterprise customers with their cloud adoptions. You can work remotely in this role, however, you have to be based in one of the 10 countries in Europe, where we operate: Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

Managed Cloud Environments keeps customer systems operational and aligned with their needs. We provide end-to-end support from Incident Management to disaster recovery and vulnerability scanning – we make running and scaling the cloud simple. We are devoted to keeping cloud operations running in a simple way with the highest quality.

As a Managed Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Improving performance and availability of applications running on the public cloud
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and load testing of cloud-native applications
• Contributing to the development of internal tools and products owned by the squad
• Developing automation and IaC for customer’s infrastructure and applications
• Minimizing the toil of the squad with automation and code
• Contributing to the internal toolbox, that helps us improve our processes, manage our/clients’ infrastructure, and scale the systems
• Advising our customers on how to adopt the best possible service composition of public cloud-based services and tools

We expect:

• Professional Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting solutions running on the public cloud (AWS or Azure or GCP)
• Experience in DevOps technologies (Container, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Automation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
• Background in Linux/Unix system administration would be beneficial
• Experience with programming languages, e.g. Golang or Python
