Design Manager

The role and responsibilities:

As a Design Manager, you will, together with your team, bring a user-centered design process into the entire production cycle, from research to detailed design and asset delivery for the development phase. You will develop and maintain the team's processes, and implement design best practices and guidelines across all Tobii products. You will collaborate closely with other departments that contribute to product success.

Your days will be filled with:

- Leading a small group of highly skilled UI/UX designers, overseeing work quality and direction.

- Leading and communicating good design practices inside and outside the team.

- Be responsible for recruitment, personal development, one-on-ones, everything that makes your staff thrive.

- Engage in the creative process of product development, make sure we have an innovative environment and are structured such that ideas can be realized.

- Define and evolve visual product identity, and consistency across all products and support the Tobii brand.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has had a lead designer role before or has been a manager of design teams.

- Has a passion for creating an energetic fun environment where people can thrive and can achieve their full potential.

- Has a solid background in visual design and interaction design.

- Is a good collaborator and also has necessary decision-making skills for management needs.

- Master’s degree or equivalent experience, specializing in design-related areas.
