Technical Writer and Content Coordinator

Sinch is looking for a passionate Technical Writer and Content Coordinator to join their Digital Marketing team. This is a full-time position, based in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Role

Working in our Stockholm office, you will be responsible for the blog we run, writing and editing developer focused content, helping share published content on social media, and managing your own work flow in a fast moving company. Sinch is a mobile communications platform, providing Voice Calling, SMS, Video, Phone Verification, and Instant Messaging services, and your job will be to research and write fantastic content on anything from customer case studies, to how WhatsApp took over the communication market, to how WebRTC is used in modern apps. Plus, tutorials are a huge part of the content we produce so you will be responsible for editing these into a fantastic resource for developers to find and use. We are targeting a very technical and experienced developer audience and your job is to write and produce content that they will love to read and can’t wait to share.

Responsibilities

• Create, research, edit, and maintain all the content on the website blog
• Manage and organise the editorial calendar
• Create and promote valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract and acquire a clearly defined developer audience
• Understand the content we have produced and think of opportunities to cross link, repurpose, and revisit
• Support the growth marketing team to focus on user acquisition, customer retention and engagement
• Assist planning, implementing and optimizing growth marketing campaigns in the USA, Europe, and Asia

Your Profile

• Fluent in English
• You don’t have to be Hemingway or Dickens but you have to be able to write convincing, well researched content
• Previous experience in technical writing content such as niche blogs and own research
• Previous experience in hobby coding in languages such as JavaScript, PHP, node, etc
• Self motivation, managing your own work flow
• A creative mind
• Experience in one of the following is a bonus – Marketing/Digital Marketing/SEO/AdWords/PPC
• You think WordPress is King
• Bonus: previous experience working at a SaaS or developer focused business
