Who are we?

ABC Labs was created in Spring 2020 as a direct response to the coronavirus pandemic. Since then we have performed around 25% of Sweden’s national covid-19 PCR testing.

Our culture is defined by speed, agility, and innovation without ever compromising the highest standards of quality. ABC was the first in Sweden to set up mass screening for both the Delta and Omicron variants and the first in Europe to launch tests for measuring T-cell immunity.

We believe the pandemic has changed diagnostics and healthcare forever. Looking towards the future, we are investing heavily to create solutions that make testing affordable, accessible, and readily available.

Why are we hiring?

As a Full-stack developer in a cross-functional team, you will be involved in the whole development process. You will be working close to the medical lab, product owners, designers, and developers.

You will be developing the interface of our innovative systems, ranging from user-friendly sampling sites to full mobile testing solutions. You will be involved in the solution design, and you will code, test, and, document. Your role is of huge importance for us as what you build is the integrations and platforms that face our partners and customers. Our partners vary from governmental bodies to health care providers, patients, nurses, etc.

Our current tech stacks are based on Ktor/Kotlin and Nest.js/TypeScript for the backend and Vue 3 using TypeScript for the frontend. However, we are very open to new ideas and technologies so if you have experience in other technologies we see that as a big bonus.

Whom do we want to hire?

You like to be given a lot of freedom and appreciate having the responsibility that comes with that. You are not afraid to come up with new solutions, and you think it's cool to fail. You keep up to date with new technologies and you are used to adopting new technologies. What matters for us:

● You have worked with both the front-end and the back-end, or you are an expert in one and want to develop in the other;

● You have solid web development experience. Javascript experience in any flavor can not be foreign to you;

● If you have Vue.js, nest.js, Typescript, or Kotlin experience is a plus, yet having a curious personality and a constant learning mindset is more important since tech stacks come and go;

● You think developing for Med-tech or diagnostics is very interesting.
