Our unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consist of around 700 skilled engineers who are responsible for everything from research and advanced engineering, to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers in the area of Safety, Vehicle control and Autonomous Drive. 
Within our Domain, AD&ADAS Functions, we develop functions such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking, Low speed AD, Driver Support, Pilot Assist and Highway Pilot. We develop and integrate functionality and SW into a complete product, making use of sensor input such as radar, camera, ultrasonic and lidar, that build a comprehensive perception of the car’s surroundings. 
Our inhouse SW development team is expanding, and we are continuously looking for junior and senior developers. So, if you have a passion to develop active safety functions make sure to apply!
What you’ll do
You will be part of our SW development team and contribute in development of software concepts and components for parts of the complete AD/ADAS system and you will be a key contributor in structuring and designing the functionalities in this important area.

Do you fit the profile?
You have a passion for developing SW in safety critical systems, preferably according to ISO26262. Depending on seniority level you have experience from System Engineering in a functional SW context. Through your experience in this area you understand the relationship between function development and SW development. You are familiar with C++ coding as well as model-based development in Simulink / EC or similar. Having experience from previously working within the automotive industry, active safety and SW development for safety critical systems is meritorious as well as analytical skills and testing experience.
As a person, you are a self-driven and proactive team player with high ambitions. Agile, cross-functional and collaborative way of working is natural for you to reach high quality results in time. You are a committed and trusted team worker and the team’s achievements are essential to you. You are known for your collaboration and communication skills. You are curious, always eager to learn and innovative. You care about people and you like to take responsibility for structuring the work and getting things done.
You have earned a B.Sc. degree, or meritorious a M.Sc. degree and a PhD, within Electrical, Computer science or equivalent area of education. Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Driver’s license B is required.
