What is in it for you? 
The electrical transformation drives new solutions for Climate systems. New smarter solutions that are more energy efficient which is required to contribute to the continuously need for increased driving range without compromising on the comfort for the passengers. You will be part of a team that finds new smart system solutions to realize customer functions. You will test both in small SW parts and in wider system solutions with SW residing in several modules. 

What you will do
•    As our content grows within ART Climate, we need to strengthen our teams with test engineers. 
•    You will be testing SW within climate area. You will test in what is suitable and available, cars, test rigs with both physical/simulated components and maybe also emulated environment. 
•    You will also be part of discussions about what test facilities that are needed and with possibility to create it.
•    You will work with SW developers, both in-house and suppliers, especially at new function growth. 
•    You will take logs and analyze them.
•    You will as you get more experienced perform fault tracing in cars. 
•    You will most likely write automated tests.

What skills are we looking for?
It is meritorious to have worked in a project from start to end within the automotive industry and if you have in that project learned most of the system topology and in which area the different SW parts resides.
Some of the tools that you will use are CANoe/CANalyzer and INCA and the hardware together with it. A good insight in programming in general will help you understand and design the functions and a needed skill is an understanding of a built-in system with its inputs and outputs and different SW layers within it. 
Knowledge of the most common communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, and Unified Diagnostic Services.
A relevant education for the position is a bachelor/master’s degree preferably in mechatronics or computer science. This role will absolutely suit you if you are the curious type and have a natural strive to make a system better and better.
Fluent English in speaking, writing, and reading as that will be your daily working language.  

To be successful in the role you should have
•    An agile mindset and a strong drive to develop excellent quality
•    B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Systems, Control and Mechatronics, SW Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
•    An interest in developing control systems in embedded software
•    A valid car driving licence (B)
•    Appreciated skills
•    Knowledge about CANoe/CANalyzer
•    Knowledge about INCA/MDA
•    Knowledge of Simulink/Targetlink and MatLab development
•    Knowledge in any programming language besides graphical programming
•    Understanding of Continuous Integration
•    Automotive industry experience
•    Good level of written and spoken, English
