Kognity is an all-in-one curriculum-aligned teaching and learning platform with interactive textbooks, analytics, and assessment support. We are experts at combining pedagogy and technology. We offer comprehensive digital teaching and learning resources for the secondary school programs IBDP, IGCSE, and NGSS.

What you'll get to do...
- Enhance the entire learning experience for school children and teachers all over the world.
- Work in small and autonomous cross-functional teams, alongside experienced Product Managers and UX Designers.
- Build new features and functionality into our platform, including glossaries, dictionaries, localisation, teacher customisation, accessibility and 3rd party integrations.
- Conduct regular code reviews with continuous integration and agile and lean practices.

How we work
- We have a no-blame culture. Mistakes happen. We don’t shame or blame. We look at issues from a process perspective.
- We work in squads; each squad has full ownership over one area of our product. Each squad consists of a Product Manager, a UX Designer and 3 to 5 engineers
- A clear connection between company vision and daily work, through the use of OKRs
- Merge checks on tests and linting rules. This makes it easy to not merge or deploy broken code
- Automatic test environments & releases to production, to avoid any human errors
- Zero-downtime migration strategy & tools. This allows us to carry out database migrations and changes without any downtime for teachers, and without any unpredictable one-off scripts
- A clear process of clarified code review & testing steps before releasing any ticket, making it easy to get things right
- Post-mortems. Every major incident is followed by a post-mortem to both share learnings with the whole team, but also to take actions that will prevent it from happening again – strengthening our safety net.
