About our R&D – Platform Software Services 
Our R&D consists of SW Engineers with both a holistic understanding of SW architecture and commitment to details and quality code. We are responsible for governing API and application architecture for the software in the Vehicle Control Unit. We set deliverables, frameworks, patterns, and policies that are fundamental for other development teams to build with consensus. We are also responsible for the SW build tools & CI pipelines and act as development support by working together with teams to succeed with development and integration. 
As a SW architect/Senior SW application developer within Platform Software Services you will be the technical expert in an empowered agile team. You will be involved in defining and refining the system and software architecture for the development performed in our team(s) as well as define test strategies of our system and software design. You will solve complex problems with an analytical, systematic approach. In your work you need to be able to work in a structured way and have a clear communication that makes it easy to connect to stakeholders. You have the ability to represent and guide the team in architectural discussions. You need to have the ability to balance expectations and needs in agile team and needs in coming platform. 

Required qualifications: 
•    A degree in Software engineering with C++ and Linux for embedded system development
•    Experience in building APIs, and the ability to review architectural artifacts
•    System and Software Architecture, development, test, and requirement handling within software projects.
•    Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred skills:
•    Experience from ISO26262 and ASIL compliant development
•    Experience from Matlab and Simulink environment, 
•    Experience working with Plant-uml, System Weaver or Car Weaver.
