That is by making it simple for every team or club to do so, using only a smartphone.

Now we are searching for a talented System Administrator to join Solidsport and our journey to revolutionize the world of sport streaming. Solidsport is now scaling up both nationally and globally. During 2020, more than 40.000 sports events were streamed live, and today our platform has passed the 1 million user mark. Come and join our journey!

About the role

In this position you will be part of a self-organized team, working as a system administrator closely together with developers, UX designers, and business people. We now need help to make some crucial design choices to continue to maintain the position as Europe's leading streaming platform and grow into further new markets. Your responsibility will not only be system uptime but also truly caring about the product you will be working on. There are several applications to be run and deployed. We have a hybrid solution with our own data centers and AWS. Very large amounts of data because we save all broadcasts in several quality levels together with clips for highlights. We work with modern technologies, creating Kubernetes clusters that are deployed in Rancher are some of the tasks we believe you have good knowledge about.

In order to scale efficiently, we need to further improve on our "metrics-driven" driven approach.  A candidate who understands how we set up relevant metrics is clearly a candidate that we will consider extra heavily in this particular recruitment. We are happy to see that you have an understanding of metrics and non-functional requirements.

Who you are

We are passionate about scaling our technology to continue our journey on democratizing sports. In order to be successful we leverage the lastest modern development tools and practices like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, Docker, DevOps, CI/CD, and many more. We believe you are familiar with some of these areas today.

• Enthusiastic and positive even in tough situations

Your Experience:

• Ubuntu Linux server management
• DNS management
• Virtualization
• Data center maintenance such as replacement of hardware
• Experience in agile development methods and practices, e.g., Scrum, SAFe, as well as, accessibility and visual testing
