Software Engineer to Arvato - Afterpay!

Afterpay is our buy-now-pay-later service available in nine European countries where we are now looking for a software Engineer for our Afterpay Development Team!

Our ambition is higher and now we have a great opportunity for a software developer to join our growing team based in Stockholm. To give you a quick insight, our technical department has over 100 developers and engineers structured in 15 domain teams. Software Engineers at Arvato work closely with product experts, designers and other roles as needed, so that each team can take full responsibility for their specific products. The team is given the freedom to make their own decisions regarding product, technology and process. For you as a software engineer, we offer the time required to focus on your craft, and plenty of room to shape what we do going forward.

In the role as a Software Engineer, you will be part of our buy-now-pay-later team where we are now available in nine European markets. You will work on performance improvements of the current application, implement new features and payment methods, improve application quality and write automated tests. A strategic feature of the application is to get from web hosting to the Azure cloud, where you can contribute and customize applications for cloud formation, migration and future adaptations. At Arvato, you will have a flexible working day with the opportunity to work remotely.

To fit in this role, we think that you have 3-4 years of work experience from a similar position. We also see that you as a person are team-oriented and have very good collaboration and communication skills and master both English and Swedish in speech and writing. You have a great drive and you are always eager to learn and develop yourself in the field. Since we are global, your language skills in English are an important factor as we communicate with many nationalities. You will start from the office in Torsgatan in Stockholm.
