Solution Architect to Benify

As a Solution Architect, your main responsibility will be to find the most sustainable technical solutions with the right balance between configuration and core functionality in the Benify portal. The Solution Architect team is experts in creating solutions within the configuration layer of the Benify portal, which can be a combination of using already available features and building new ones using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or the built in proprietary scripting language. You will act as an advisor in how a solution should be designed and/or implemented and work closely together with the Professional Services department and towards peers within Product development.

In this role, you will ensure long term sustainable solutions by:

• Creating guidelines, best practices and educate others in how to efficiently create fit for purpose long term sustainable solutions with low technical debt
• Ensure that configuration solutions follow development practices
• Identify, structure and solve technical debt
• Redesign of low-quality technical solutions by working with improvements and reconfiguration of content
• Drive and create standardization for configuration solutions, and make sure they are applied across all teams at Benify

Contribute to building great products by:

• Plan, suggest, execute and follow up on technical work packages and tasks
• Attend external meetings to understand requirements and identify new product development needs
• Design new solutions together with developers and client configuration teams

To succeed in this role, we also see that you have:

• A few years of experience as a Solution Architect, preferably also working within the software development area
• Relevant educational background within computer science, software engineering, IT or another technical field
• Experience from Java and/or JavaScript development. The understanding of code is more important, than what specific language you have used
• Good knowledge in English, both orally and written
• Experience from Agile development

Desirable:

• Long experience working in a product organization
• Experience from developing frontend / UI and/or mobile apps
