We are looking to strengthen our team with two more System Engineers.
You will be working in our Operations team with our Cloud infrastructure software for enterprise communication. You are challenged by working closely with our demanding customers and secure their high performing systems as well as giving guidance to further improvements and enhancements.
As a Senior Systems Engineer your main objective is to work with our customers, understand their challenges to deliver the end-users requirements and keep the service available, and find suitable solutions that can be both short term and long term. You will be working at customer premises or more often by remote access.
You will participate in our customer projects from pre-study, implementation and testing followed by service launch. Assigned tasks in the projects shall be resolved, deadlines kept and our delivered solution shall be documented. Communication and information sharing throughout the project is equally important to satisfy our customers.
You will be working closely with R&D and be the interface to our customers and their requests to strengthen our products and their solution. Other tasks will be 3rd line support from all our customers and share experiences with your colleagues. You should:
- Have a Bachelor/Masters of Science Degree or equivalent academic experience
- Have a minimum of 5 years´ experience within Telecommunication
- Have a good understanding of: Linux, VoIP, SIP, Databases and IT infrastructure with firewalls, DNS, NTP, routing, certificates etc.
- Have worked with tools such as WireShark for deeper analyses of PCAP´s
- Be goal oriented and take responsibility of assigned tasks
- Have good communication skills and able to represent Mitel with customers
- Be fluent in English
- Have the possibility to travel 1-2 trips per month
