C++ Developer

The company is one of the largest software development companies in Gothenburg. They develop innovative optimisation solutions for the world’s leading airlines. Dedicated to continuous improvement, they explore emerging technologies such as quantum computing, AI and big data analytics.

About the role

You will be part of a highly qualified and experienced team developing airline business logics featured in the software platform, which is the foundation of their product. The software platform and its modules are mainly implemented in C++ and the OS is Linux. Python and Java are also used when writing test cases and in communication upstream and downstream in the solutions.

The teams work in an agile setup integrated in their SAFe-inspired framework that secures structure and cadence of delivery in the release trains. Code is shipped to clients every 6th week.

Product quality is at the core of the organisation, where build-environment, tests and CI/CD in combination with a DevSecOps mindset is a crucial part for success in their journey from on-premises solutions towards SaaS solutions.

About you

We believe you have a strong analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills and an interest in both people and technology. A good understanding and experience of agile methodology is highly valued. As a person you are driven, committed, have a positive attitude and are comfortable with continuous team growth.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and skills in Java, Python and Linux

• Common database modelling knowledge

• Good knowledge and interests in unit testing, build pipes and CI/CD

• Fluency in English (their corporate language), spoken and written

Good to have

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in computing engineering or other relevant or equivalent education or experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in C++ programming

• Experience in using and understanding agile methodology

• Interest in functional programming (Haskell)

• Experience and interest in DevOps
