You will be part of Network Control (part of Enterprise Software) that provides leading network management and control systems for planned and unplanned outage management, generation, transmission and distribution management systems, SCADA and process control solutions, and commercial energy portfolio management tools for planning, forecasting and running your day-to-day operations. Offerings comprise a broad range of solutions to address the most critical needs of utility and power companies.

In this role you will work both strategically and close to the development teams. Our system is used for mission critical supervision and control. You will be an important part of our team of software architects. They are responsible for our software quality, making sure it meets the targets for reliability, safety and other customer demands.

Your responsibilities

• Be a positive and encouraging colleague that enjoys working in a team.

• Work on and maintain the roadmap for the architecture of our applications.
• Lead by example, educate and present to developers how the software should be built with superior quality.
• Document and keep existing guidelines updated.
• Support and assist other teams when needed.

Your background

• You hold a University degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Extensive knowledge in C/C++/C#.
• Long experience of software development and previous architect roles.
• Dedicated to automated testing and TDD.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish will be an advantage.
• Important in this role is your personality and your willingness to learn and explore new areas. Good teamwork and collaboration skills are crucial to succeed in the role!
